Mickey Mouse Leaves Disneyland for Camp Snoopy!

I'm not feeling too creative today, so I have decided not to do an "April 1st" Disneyland Trip Report post as I have the past two years. Instead, I'm posting this "Knott A Berry Vine" from April 1, 1988 which was a parody of the Knott's Berry Farm employee publication, "The Berry Vine." Enjoy!

Guess what? I finally went and got my Knott's annual pass!

I remember how upset I was when Mickey left for Camp Snoopy. But as we all know, it didn't work out, and he came crawling back to Disneyland begging for his old job. I think he learned his lesson!

Great job, you actually had to write a whole newsletter! Makes me feel lazy by comparison. I want to go back in fake time and buy that Mercedes and the house!

Congrats Connie! It definitely is a deal right now. Maybe we can meet over there sometime.

Major, I didn't write that newsletter. Someone on the staff of the real "Berry Vine" wrote it back in 1988. I loved your April 1st post today!

Too funny! I think the avocado jelly could be tasty. Maybe that's just me. This newsletter made me think of the (very old) comic strip where Snoopy does an imitation of Mickey Mouse. They should put that strip up in Knott's somewhere if it isn't there already. :-)

I wonder if the princesses will be next to jump ship? If they do, they'll probably end up living in Orlando with Harry Potter at Universal.

Imagine if the Disney Characters went to Six Flags and met their arch rivals, The Looney Tunes.
