Adventure Thru Inner....Jungle Cruise

Where the heck is this.....has the Jungle Cruise boat house been added to Storybook Land?


Are these the same miniature people from inside the old "Adventure Thru Inner Space" microscope?

This boat is approaching "Schweitzer Falls"......

Wait....that sign says "Diswaytada Falls".....and why is there a suspension bridge attached to it? Is this some kind of alternate universe Disneyland where Tom Sawyer Island and the Jungle Cruise have been merged into one attraction?

These are actually Jungle Cruise-themed remote control boats, complete with the original striped awnings! I stumbled across these the other day at the Disneyland Hotel. I had not walked around the hotel grounds since they had been reconfigured almost 10 years ago. But after seeing this photo of the old hotel waterfalls over at Vintage Disneyland Tickets and this one of the Dancing Waters Show remnants at Daveland, I was motivated to head over to the hotel on a lunch break and check them out. Needless to say, I was very surprised to find these boats. Has anyone else posted about these? I hadn't heard anything about them. It's a nice little touch to have them be themed to the Jungle Cruise, and I guess it kind of replaces the remote control boats that used to be in the former "marina" section of the hotel. Remember those? They even had a miniature Queen Mary that was added about the same time that Disney took over it's management. I believe I have a photo of that somewhere around here....now I'll have to go digging for it!
