Tokyo Fantasyland

Today we will visit Tokyo Disneyland's Fantasyland. These are some shots of their incredibly detailed Alice In Wonderland themed restaurant called, "Queen of Hearts Banquet Hall". It is located across from the Mad Tea Party attraction and together, they create a nice "Alice" themed area. I haven't mentioned it yet, but one of the reasons I am such a big fan of Tokyo Disneyland is that they do such an incredible job when it comes to building something new for their park. They almost go overboard with the detailing. We just do not see that done at any of the Disney parks here in the U.S. anymore. For me it is like going back in time and getting to visit the original Disneyland (the one I grew up with) at a time when the maintenance was impeccable, the employees went above and beyond the normal call of duty and the new attractions, shows, parades, etc. were NEVER disappointing!

Painting the roses red........

Airplane in Wonderland. Planes don't seem to fly directly over the park, but they do fly near the park off in the horizon. This one would be getting ready to land (I think) at Hanaeda Airport .

A marble statue of the White Rabbit stands outside the entrance.

Tomorrow, I will post some photos of the interior of this restaurant.
