I can't image that they were free to roam and fly up into the tree tops, but I don't seem to see any kind of tether on their perch. Wonder if they had their flight feathers trimmed?Snow White Archivehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04715594290214114608noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2440013033477237104.post-88105685482235979412011-04-16T06:43:06.524-07:002011-04-16T06:43:06.524-07:00I had no idea about the birds!I had no idea about the birds!Davelandhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10720475138513029144noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2440013033477237104.post-50672224409730875572011-04-15T09:03:00.348-07:002011-04-15T09:03:00.348-07:00I agree that the current treehouse would be better...I agree that the current treehouse would be better without Tarzan and Jane. In the old version, it was easy to imagine that the Swiss Family had stepped out for a while, and we were nosing around their home.Major Pepperidgehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09843598326995116014noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2440013033477237104.post-59251303049802081342011-04-14T16:41:31.778-07:002011-04-14T16:41:31.778-07:00It's too bad the live birds aren't there a...It's too bad the live birds aren't there anymore. They are probably easier to care for than animatronics, and they can live a long time!

I've never seen Disneyland's Treehouse, but not much is being done these days to promote Disney's Tarzan (maybe because it's co-owned with the Burroughs estate?). I wonder if it will switch back to the Swiss Family when Johnny Depp stars in the remake. :-)Dan Alexanderhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14818108201214059180noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2440013033477237104.post-65007369239749161302011-04-14T08:20:01.073-07:002011-04-14T08:20:01.073-07:00WOW!
