Who could forget those giant mushrooms and riding in the giant ornaments on the christmas tree ride. All of our imported glass ornaments came from there. Mother had a beautiful collection. I can't believe I've never seen one of those "Santa's Village" pinbacks before (I have several from "The North Pole" in New Hampshire). $17 sounds a bit steep considering, but I really want one!!Major Pepperidgehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09843598326995116014noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2440013033477237104.post-40435927008673918022011-12-26T18:48:08.545-08:002011-12-26T18:48:08.545-08:00They really did have some interesting attractions....They really did have some interesting attractions..the Christmas Tree Ride, Coaster Bobsleds, and of course the Bumble Bee Monorail. It wasn't until Major Pepperidge posted his pic a couple days ago that I learned exactly where the egg-shaped structure was located. I wonder if they just happened to leave it off the map or if that structure had actually been removed from the park by then?TokyoMagic!https://www.blogger.com/profile/16340756514811789233noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2440013033477237104.post-63269148557575449192011-12-26T10:55:19.533-08:002011-12-26T10:55:19.533-08:00Thank you for this amazing and comprehensive serie...Thank you for this amazing and comprehensive series of posts, TM.

You have definitely brought back many memories for me, all good.

I really appreciate the maps and the information on the disposition of the old rides and equipment. Good to know that something was salvaged from the rubble.

Also, thanks for showing the Easter Bunny's house. That clears up the sign on the Crooked House slide for me. For years, I thought that slide was the EB's abode. Ha!

Best to you for Christmas and thank you again for the blog.

JGJGhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15456196709930408585noreply@blogger.com
