Snowflakes In The Emporium - 1995

Happy first day of Winter, everyone! Today we have a shot taken inside Disneyland's Emporium back in 1995. In October, I posted "then" and "now" photos of these same figures in my vintage Halloween Trip Report From 1995.

For Winter of 1995, the figures were redressed with snowflakes swirling about them, and a gold music box "key" was added to the rotating base.
.
Once again, these figures still exist and can be found over in DCA in the Greetings From California shop.

I will be visiting family for the next couple of weeks. So I would like to take this time to wish you and your family a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. PEACE! ~ Richard.

I love these figures, and I'm glad they are still used today. It seems like many Disney Stores changed or sold theirs, and they lost something special.

The Disney Store I grew up with (in Birmingham, AL) was one of the originals, and initially had a local-flavored theme (a football game). It changed to a general movie theme eventually and was never the same to me.

I'm intrigued by these guys! I kind of remember them, but not clearly. Where do you reckon they reside now?

BIWATW, They very well might have been sent to the same place as Uti and her catamaran. :-(
